Multi award-winning film and video production company, Ark Media, has been busy assisting the Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School (BVGS) Corporate Partnership with the production of two promotional videos.
Since joining the partnership in January 2017, Ark Media’s 20 plus years’ experience has helped produce a promotional video for the Partnership’s networking golf day, as well as a start-up video for the school’s new website.
The Sutton Coldfield media company has enjoyed recent international success, with projects in Israel, Saudi Arabia and Belgium, filming and producing the world’s first dual nation ‘hackathon’ – a project that brings computer programmers and software developers together from all over the world.
Recently shortlisted at the Royal Television Society Midlands Awards 2017, Ark Media joins the 25-company strong Partnership, supporting the school and helping improve its services and facilitates.
Phil Arkinstall (OV1996), Managing Director of Ark Media commented: “We’re delighted to support BVGS and have enjoyed assisting with the production of its two promotional videos – the first of many more to come.
“Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School holds a special place in my heart personally, having attended the school from 1992 – 1996.
“Now feels like the perfect time for us to give back to the community, by supporting this outstanding school and hopefully helping other businesses to realise the importance of professionally crafted videos, films and commercials.
“After meeting Brian Davies, who is running the programme at the school, our decision to become an official partner was made a lot easier by his passion for the initiative and what it hoped to achieve.
“Brian made a significant effort to understand our organisation in more detail, ensuring that we shared the same values and visions as the school.
“This was a key factor for me personally, as it shows Brian and his team are taking the time to ensure all the businesses involved are ones the school are proud to be associated with.
“It’s a privilege to be involved, and we’re looking forward to building a long-term relationship with the school and its partners, as well as using our expertise as a business to help boost the school’s profile.
“The programme also opens the door to collaboration between the various businesses, which is a great way to promote the individual partners and the work they do.”
Brian Davies, Development Director and Deputy Sports Director at the school commented: “The team at Ark Media are very friendly, and we’ve already had the pleasure of experiencing their brilliant work first hand with the two video productions – which can be seen on the website

“We’re looking forward to helping Phil and his team build strong relationships with the other corporate partners, and encouraging collaboration that can help businesses thrive while enhancing their profile.”
