Here are 6 benefits to joining the BVGS Alumni Platform:-

1. Be the first to hear about new events

Particularly in a post-COVID world, face-to-face events are likely to have a tight guest list to control numbers and practice social distancing. Be the first to hear about new events when they go live, so you can sign up before they sell out!

2. Network with a community that wants to help

With hundreds or thousands of alumni working in all different kinds of sectors, you can easily network with people in your dream industry and find out about how they got there, and what advice they would give to you.

3. Find out about new job opportunities

Along with networking, you can find out about new job opportunities directly from your alumni site - sometimes before they are even released externally. Get ahead by checking into your community site regularly to find out about new positions when they are added to the jobs board.

4. Share your story and inspire others

Overcome a big challenge? Worked your way up to your dream job? Or simply got some great advice to share? Inspire the next generation by sharing your story with your alumni community.

5. Stay up to date with school news

Read about developments in your school, find out how you can help support new projects, and hear the news about your old teachers! When you leave the school, you become part of our lifelong community and we’d love to stay in touch with you and share what’s changed! As well as regular news story updates, you will also receive the half-termly produced The Veseyan summarising key alumni and school news from that half-term. .

6. Create your legacy and support your school

If you’re considering giving back to your school, find out about the range of funds we are running so you can give back to a cause close to your heart. We’ll keep you updated of our fundraising efforts and let you know how your donation has helped to make a difference. Perhaps you could have your name on our next building project like the Richards-Randon STEM Block?
