On Saturday 23rd, the U12A hockey sevens team were in action against Solihull, despite the great team effort Solihull remained strong and eventually won the match 3-1. Also on Saturday, five of the lower school rugby XVs played The King's School, Worcester, with four out of the five teams returning home victorious.

On Tuesday, the U14A team also played Solihull and the U14Bs played Bablake. Whilst there was an excellent goal from Cameron Lovell for the U14Bs neither team were able to secure a win.

In the dismal and drizzly conditions on Wednesday, the first XI and second XI played superbly. Both teams played Newcastle-Under-Lyme School and neither conceded any points. Meanwhile the senior cross country team were running in that weather. Congratulations to Alex Stapleton (4th), Laurie Barratt (6th) and Nathan Casey (14th), and Lucy Corker who made her debut for the school.

Next week there are lower school hockey sevens' matches to look forward to, whilst the senior rugby XVs are back in action against RGS Worcester and King Edwards VI School Five Ways, so fingers crossed for better weather for what promises to be a spectacular week for Vesey's sport.
