On Saturday 16th, the rugby 2nd XV beat Bloxham School. Despite a second half yellow card, there were fantastic box kicks from halfback Fraser Bell and when the bench came on, they added momentum and the final score was 33-0. For the 1st XV, although there were two first half tries from Clark Wells the team was narrowly beaten by Bloxham, 15-23. Lower down the school there were also wins for our U15B and U14A teams.

On Wednesday, the 2nd XV played again, this time against Queen Mary's Grammar School. They finished with a score of 55-14, thanks to a melody of tries and a hat trick from vice captain, Finlay Port as well as some superb conversions from Toby Page and Finlay Sly. This is the biggest points difference our 2nd XV have recorded over an opponent this year.

Also on Wednesday the 1st XI beat Princethorpe College, 5-1. There was excellent play from all the team, but particularly Patrick Andrews and captain Benjamin Ellis

Over on the netball courts the girls hosted three teams from King Edward's VI School, Five Ways. Although they were defeated they continue to improve and build on their skills from Monday training and use them well in games on Wednesdays.

Next week it's the turn for our lower school to shine, with everyone from our 1st XV to the U13B team playing St King's School, Worcester, on Saturday, and throughout the week there are games for the lower school hockey sevens to look forward to.
