Dear Alumni, Andrea and Skye from the DT Department have done a fantastic job in leading what is now 9 other local secondary schools in the production of visors and face mask clips.

If you have any friends, family or neighbours who work in a frontline setting in and around Birmingham/Sutton Coldfield (nursing homes, hospitals, GP surgeries etc), and would benefit from a donation of face visors then please place an order by emailing m.davis@bishopveseys.bham.sch.uk or by sending a message to the BVGS Facebook Page.

We have currently provided PPE to 20 local care homes, and through our social media and using networks in the health care profession we received orders for a further 42 frontline settings. These orders have now all been fulfilled, and the running total stands at an amazing 4,457 visors and 907 face mask clips assembled and delivered.

We need your support to ensure that the visors find homes, and reach the people that need them the most as quickly as possible. Last week alone we, along with the help of the 9 other schools, produced 2,415 visors. With production at this level we want to ensure that the word is spread, so that we can get these delivered to frontline workers at the same rate that they are being produced!
