David J Smith - A brief remembrance

David Smith lived in Shropshire where he was a vet. He died on 7 June 2021.

He was 90 in April. He would cycle to school together with Brian Darlaston, two years his junior.

David married Margaret Payne who was at Boldmere primary school with Brian.

David was in blue house, was a great cross country runner in a successful school team. He played on the wing in 1st XV,  won the Eddowes Prize in 1949 and was Victor Ludorum in 1948 and 1949.
