Lowe Sawyer Financial Planning has joined the Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School (BVGS) Corporate Partnership Programme, which officially launched at the beginning of February.
The company is the first of its kind to join the new initiative, in a bid to help support the academy which is soon to feel the impact of an estimated £3bn shortfall in the government’s education budget.
Russell Lowe, Managing Director of Lowe Sawyer commented: “We’re in the business of forward-planning and with the current state of the education budget, we understand the requirement for the Corporate Partnership Programme. I’m an ex-student of the school so we already had a connection and our team at Lowe Sawyer are delighted to get involved and give back to the community. We have named BVGS as our fundraising partner for this year."
“It’s refreshing to see Brian Davies and his team at the school taking a proactive approach to the changes facing the sector. Whilst Brian and his colleagues at the school are facing the current challenges head-on and thinking to the future, many parents of students attending the school should be doing the same. With the growing cost of university fees, many parents have taken a hands-on approach to plan for their children’s futures. It’s never too early to put a plan in place, and we’re pleased to be able to help those parents requiring planning support.
“But it’s not just financial planning for university fees; we provide personal advice on many aspects of wealth management and in some cases, we work with our clients throughout different life stages."
Investment and Retirement planning, Estate and Tax planning and Corporate Financial Advice are amongst the services undertaken by Lowe Sawyer.
“I know it sounds cliché, but we do really care about our clients. We’re in a unique position as a small business supported by a FTSE 100 company. It means we’re able to fulfil the needs of our clients, maintaining personal close-knit relationships built on trust, whilst still providing the backing and re-assurance of investing with an award-winning company."
Brian Davies, Development Director and Deputy Sports Director at the school said: “We’ve brought together a fantastic group of companies so far. I’ve personally vetted each business to make sure their values align with the school’s.“It’s clear that Lowe Sawyer is an excellent business based on strong relationships built with their clients over many years. “From my first meeting with Russell, I knew Lowe Sawyer would be an excellent Corporate Partner, available to not only help financially support the school, but also to offer trusted financial planning advice to the school, staff and the parents of our students.”
