Rugby, Hockey
Earlier this week the lower school played some of their best matches of the year so far, with the hockey sevens in action against Warwick School and the rugby sevens playing RGS Worcester. On Tuesday the U13B did not concede any points against Solihull School and the U14B made an impressive comeback with a 7-0 win over Queen Mary’s Grammar School.

On Saturday three out of the seven rugby XVs also ensured their opponents didn’t score. The largest margin was the U13B team with a huge win of 50-0. All but one of the teams won against RGS Worcester whilst the U15A were narrowly beaten; a testament to the hard work and time all the boys and coaches have put in over the past few weeks.

The week ended on a high, there were convincing wins from the senior hockey teams who played Warwick School and some superb tries from Clark Wells and Cormac Parize for the first XV who played King Edward’s Five Ways.

Next week, all the hockey teams are playing against teams from across the county. On Friday the Vesey Vultures have their second outing of the year against Burton On Trent and the 2nd XV play Denstone College next Wednesday, in what promises to be another week packed full of sporting surprises and success.
