A Sutton Coldfield firm, led by BVGS alumni Phil Arkinstall, has received top recognition from creative professionals across the globe.
Ark Media Productions achieved Rose Gold recognition at the 2017 Muse Creative Awards.
The firm claimed the prize in the Best Event Video category for its work on the world’s first dual nation ‘hackathon’.
A hackathon is an event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, and others collaborate intensively on software projects.
There were more than 1,500 award submissions from 35 countries.
The Muse Creative Awards is an annual competition for creative professionals who inspire through concept, writing or design, either in traditional or electronic media.
Ark Media’s managing director, Phil Arkinstall (pictured), who was producer of the films, said: “It's fantastic that the Ark team have been recognised for the work that went into this film.
“It's evidence of the creativity and execution that the whole team delivered on this complicated film shoot and I'm thrilled that Muse have recognised this with a gold award.”
Muse Creative Awards is administered and judged by International Awards Associates (IAA) and a carefully selected, prestigious panel of internationally-recognised creative professionals.
